2. Information we collect

We collect information in the following ways:

A) Information you provide

  • Contact details such as name, email address, and phone number (for bookings, verification, and support).
  • Booking details such as pickup/drop-off locations, dates, passenger count, notes, and preferences.
  • Messages you send to drivers or support (in-app chat or support requests).

B) Information collected automatically

  • Device and app data like device model, OS version, app version, language, and time zone.
  • Log data such as crash reports, diagnostic logs, and performance data.
  • Approximate location derived from IP address (mainly for fraud prevention and regional settings).

C) Location information (if you allow it)

  • Precise location (GPS) to help with pickup coordination, trip tracking, and showing you on the map.
  • Background location only if you explicitly enable it and the App requires it for trip tracking features (where available).

D) Information from third parties

  • Payment information from payment providers (e.g., transaction status, payment confirmation). We do not store your full card details if handled by a provider.
  • Notification tokens from push notification services to deliver booking updates.
  • Map services (e.g., Google Maps) may process location to display maps and routes.
We do not sell your personal information. We only share data when needed to deliver the service, comply with law, or protect users and our platform.

3. How we use information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the App (create bookings, assign drivers, show trip details, and manage your account).
  • Communicate with you (booking confirmations, changes, reminders, support responses).
  • Enable trip features (maps, pickup coordination, live updates where available).
  • Process payments and prevent fraud.
  • Improve the App (debugging, analytics, performance monitoring, feature development).

4. Sharing & disclosures

We may share information in these situations:

A) With drivers & service partners

To fulfill your booking, we share necessary details with the assigned driver/operator, such as your name, pickup and drop-off, booking notes, and (when relevant) live location for pickup coordination.

B) With vendors (processors)

We use trusted service providers for hosting, analytics, notifications, maps, and payment processing. They may process personal information only to provide services to us and under appropriate safeguards.

C) Legal, safety, and business transfers

  • Legal compliance: if required by law, court order, or valid government request.
  • Safety: to protect users, drivers, our platform, or prevent fraud/abuse.
  • Business transactions: if we’re involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, information may be transferred under confidentiality safeguards.

5. Location data

Location helps us deliver core travel features (pickup coordination, directions, trip status). You can control location permissions anytime in your device settings.

  • While using the App: location may be used to show your pickup position and improve estimated arrival times.
  • During an active trip (where enabled): location may be used to provide live trip updates and assist support in case of issues.
  • You’re in control: you can disable location access, but some features may not work as intended.

6. Payments

Payments may be processed via third-party payment providers (for example, PayPal). When you pay, your payment is handled by the provider. We receive confirmation details such as payment status, transaction ID, amount, and time to complete your booking and provide receipts.

We do not store your full card number or complete payment credentials when handled by a provider.

7. Push notifications

We send push notifications for important booking events (confirmation, driver assigned, changes, cancellations, reminders). You can opt out through your device notification settings. If you disable notifications, you may miss important updates.

8. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide services and for legitimate business purposes such as: maintaining booking history, resolving disputes, complying with legal obligations, and preventing fraud.

  • Booking records: retained for operational, tax, and compliance needs.
  • Support messages: retained to help resolve issues and improve service.
  • Logs/diagnostics: retained for a limited period to maintain reliability and security.

9. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights and choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights such as:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Delete your account and personal data (subject to legal/legitimate retention needs).
  • Object / restrict certain processing (where applicable).

“Do Not Sell”

Our services are not directed to children. If you are under the age required by your jurisdiction (often 13, or 16 in some regions), please do not use the App. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate action.

12. International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than where you live, depending on where our service providers operate. We take steps to ensure appropriate safeguards for cross-border data transfers as required by law.
